The automatic centrifuge with side filtering and batch-type inertial discharge of sediment is designed for:

 - dewatering of hard-to-filter suspensions in food industry (lactose, casein, malt residues, potato, etc.),

 - in chemical industry (ammonium sulfate),

 - in mining industry (fluorite, quartz) and other industries.

 Possibility of material to be retained in the centrifugal field at separation factor up to 1500 g provides the obtaining of the required quality product as well as the treating of suspensions with S:L phase correlation = 1 : 2 – 1 : 50 and with the size of particles of the solid phase =10 - 3000 µm.

 The centrifuges are the basic equipment around which complexes have been developed by «NPO Center» specialists to process potato, fruits and vegetables into dry semi-finished products.

The application of this equipment provides:

 the reduction of energy costs for the drying of products  by 4-6 times,

• quality improvement and increase of product yield,

• reduction in metal consumption.

 Wide application of these technologies will make it possible to reduce sharply the losses connected with the storage of fruits and vegetables.

Complexes developed on the basis of these centrifuges

               provide the reduction of energy costs for drying of products by 4 - 6 times,
               improve the quality and the output of the finished product,
              reduce metal consumption,
               reduce the losses associated with the storage of fruits and vegetables.

In the world present-day practice the obtaining of milk protein concentrates becomes increasingly important. The application of centrifuges to obtain milk protein concentrates makes it possible:

- to reduce protein losses by 70%-90%,

- to increase the product yield  by 8%-10% in the production of damp milk protein concentrates and by 18%-20% - in the production of dry ones;

- to employ the effective method  of whey clarifying, its preparation for further processing and to expand the sphere of its application;

- to purify wastewater.

Liquid phase removal is carried out continuously during the charging process whereas discharging of water-free material, filtering and sediment finishing squeezing – at regular times.

 Filter element of the rotor possesses a possibility of centrifugal regeneration of filter membrane in the process of the rotor discharge. Any types of filter fabrics and metal screen filter elements can be used as a filter memebrane.
